Can Tradies Do Yoga?

Yes! I can’t stress enough how important it is to do yoga. You know there’s all different types of yoga out there. Western countries have sort of butchered it and tried to turn into some type of fitness routine, but it’s not about fitness. It does have the after effect of making you fit, but yoga is not a place to go and do fitness.

It can mean different things to different people, but for me – as a stressed business entrepreneur – it is about mindfulness and getting a bit of movement. I had really tight hips and tight hamstrings being quite tall and yoga was the best thing I ever did to fix it.

I remember the first day that I did it, when I was in there I felt a little bit uncomfortable and like trying to find my feet like a baby giraffe, but I remember walking out of there and it felt unreal. I just wanted to do more to get that feeling again.

I felt sore, but it was a good sore. It makes you feel taller and you’ve got so much more movement. So the answer to the question is yes. If you’re a tradie, stop being a man-man. Get out of there and get rid of that habit. Get in there and do some yoga.

It’s awesome for your mind and it’s awesome for your body. I can’t stress enough how amazing it is.
