What To Do When You Lose Motivation

It’s pretty easy to come off the rails every now and again and I can guarantee you I know why. If you’re not getting up and following these daily rituals it’s very easy for you to lose motivation.

I keep a very strong eye on my sense of awareness around my energy and how I’m feeling throughout the day. It’s very critical if you want to be an entrepreneur to be performing at your peak. You want to make sure that you’re fueling your body with the right nutrition, keeping it energised, and making sure that you’re stretching, yoga all sorts of meditating – keeping your mind space clear.

Once you start to maintain these things on a daily basis, you won’t go a day without doing them. It’s critical for you to do these things so that you can maintain awesome energy levels throughout the day.

If you do find yourself starting to slump down or work gets to be too much for you and you’re under a lot of stress, you need to recognise it and respond to it. If I’m feeling overwhelmed, I’ll step out of the office. I’ll go for a walk or just do a little bit of deep meditation just to switch off for a bit.

There’s no point in being around other people and being in the business if you’re not performing at your best. Always keep an awareness around this and what your energy is. Check in on yourself and stay at your peak.
